Holistic growth
Journey
Welcome!
I’m so glad you’re here. My journey as a holistic decolonial life coach and guide was born from a deep understanding that true healing and thriving must be approached from a holistic, rooted perspective. This means recognizing and honoring our diverse, intersectional experiences and needs, especially when it comes to grounded growth and personal-liberation.
Throughout my own healing journey, I’ve faced challenges such as co-dependency, childhood trauma, negative self-image, unhealthy relationships, low self-esteem, eating disorders, self-sabotage, spiritual limitations, and the effects of healing a colonized identity & world-view. For more than a decade, I’ve dedicated myself to re-educating my mind, body, and spirit in the areas of self-healing, sovereignty, and personal liberty.
My passion lies in crafting life-changing, holistic tools that empower individuals, especially Black women raised in the diaspora, to navigate life with self-assurance, self-love, and authenticity. Drawing from the works of Black and Indigenous thinkers, as well as my own intuitive knowledge and sensitivity to life, I’ve learned to embrace both the challenges and blessings life offers. These experiences have deepened my understanding of self and helped me recognize my purpose within the greater community of humanity.
I truly believe that mastering our lives, designing a life that reflects our personal values, authenticity, and innate skills, is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves, our loved ones, and the world. When we infuse this process with radical joy and a commitment to living fully, we create a life of purpose and fulfillment. Embracing self-care, preservation, thriving, and healing is not just about personal growth; it’s about breaking the cycle of hurt and choosing to be a source of healing instead. This, in itself, is a revolutionary act.
“Wounding and healing are not opposites. They’re part of the same thing. It is our wounds that enable us to be compassionate with the wounds of others. It is our limitations that make us kind to the limitations of other people. It is our loneliness that helps us to find other people or to even know they’re alone with an illness. I think I have served people perfectly with parts of myself I used to be ashamed of. ”― RACHEL NAOMI REMEN
